The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested two police officials, L/ASI Kulvinder and L/HC Geeta, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000/-. The accused are posted in Police Station, Shahzadpur, District- Ambala.
The ACB acted on a complaint and laid a trap to apprehend the accused officials. The accused were caught red-handed while accepting the bribe in the presence of independent witnesses.
A case has been registered against the accused at the Ambala ACB Police Station and they have been arrested. Further investigation is in progress. The ACB aims to gather all relevant evidence to support the charges against the accused.
