Addressing a query on the recent middle east crisis , Minister Puri firmly condemned acts of terrorism in the Middle East and said, “India stands firmly committed to global peace, security, and stability.”
(SUBHEAD) When questioned about the impact of the Middle East crisis on petroleum prices, Hon'ble Minister assured the public that India's fuel supply remains secure and affordable. He emphasized India's diverse sources of oil supply and its position as the world's third-largest consumer of oil. Minister Puri pointed out the resilience of India's energy policies, stating that “India has witnessed a steady decrease in fuel prices over the past two years, providing economic relief to our citizens.”
Furthermore, the Union Minister emphasized the effectiveness of the Jan Andolan approach, where government policies transform into a mass movement. He highlighted that this approach enables policies to reach the grassroots level, ensuring a direct, positive impact on the lives of citizens. Minister Puri expressed his belief that initiatives like Swachh Bharat can achieve full success when they become a Jan Andolan, bridging the gap between policy-making and practical implementation, and enhancing the overall quality of life for the people.
