“Shaurya Haat” – an exhibition to nurture entrepreneur skills and creativity of Indian Army wives, was organized under the aegis of Western Command at Elante Mall, Chandigarh on 7th and 8th October 2023. The event showcased the creations of more than 60 entrepreneurs, who displayed various handicrafted paintings, ethnic embroidery, jewellery, sarees, candles and myriad home decor artifacts.

The 'Shaurya' theme also brings to fore the extreme struggle that the Army Wives undergo to single handedly support their families, while their husbands protect the country from external and internal threats. T
he crowds from the “Tri City” acknowledged the sacrifices made by an “Army Wife” and appreciated the high standards of products on display. The event achieved its aim by providing encouragement and promoting a sense of accomplishment amongst lady entrepreneurs, who have chosen the path of self realization inspite of a challenging life.
