UT ADMIN ORGANISED AYUSH HEALTH CAMP IN PALSORA

Directorate of AYUSH Chandigarh Administration organised an AYUSH health camp at AYUSH gram Palsora under National AYUSH Mission on Saturday.

(MOREPIC1)(MOREPIC2)Mr. Manaur (Area Counsellor Palsora) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. Manju Shree Asstt. Director (H), Dr. Anantjot, Senior Ayurvedic Physician, Dr. Gaurav, Dr. Sunaina, Dr. Sandeep, Dr. Anurita, Dr. Arun Kapila along with supporting staff were present

Highlights of the camp were:

Free AYUSH OPDs ( Homeopathic, Ayurvedic and Unani)   Around 231 patients were provided free consultation by AYUSH doctors and free AYUSH medicines., Medicinal plants were distributed to general public., Health talks and awareness about AYUSH public health programmes like ayurvidya, maternal and child interventions , Karunya (AYUSH Palliative treatment), Management of Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal disorders etc. was generated.,

Yoga sessions were organised and local residents availed benefit of these services with great enthusiasm.  Free health screening for NCD's was done by family welfare department. 50 persons were screened for NCDs, Malaria dept. created awareness for prevention of malaria and dengue and screening for malaria was also done. 16 slides were prepared

Social welfare department also participated in these IEC activities

AYUSH dept announced to hold such activities in a regular manner in all AYUSH grams in future also so that maximum public can avail AYUSH services at their doorsteps.
