CII ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE CORPORATE WOMEN LEADERSHIP AWARDS 2023

The Confederation of India Industry (CII) announced the winners of the first edition of the CII Corporate Women Leadership Awards, across 12 distinct award categories. Revealing the winners, the CII Corporate Women Leadership Awards seek to honour exceptional women who have, through their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and outstanding performance, left an indelible mark on the business landscape.

Speaking on the importance of the Awards, Mr R Dinesh, President, CII and Executive Vice Chairman, TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd shared, “At CII, we firmly believe that the recognition of women leaders is pivotal to the narrative of progress and development in India. Our commitment to honouring women leaders is rooted in the understanding that their contributions are not only transformative for businesses but also integral for shaping the nation's trajectory. Through these awards, we salute their resilience, vision, and dedication, and we pave the way for a more inclusive and prosperous India.”

An eminent and senior panel of Jury members headed by Mrs Rumjhum Chatterjee adjudged the winners across all categories. The other Jury members included the illustrious names of Mr Anshuman Magazine, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Northern Region and Chairman & CEO – India, South East Asia, Middle East & Africa, CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd; Mr Deepak Jain, Deputy Chairman, CII Northern Region & Chairman, Lumax-DK Jain Group; Ms Pallavi Shroff, Managing Partner, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co; Dr T Sarita Reddy, Past Co-Chair, CII National Committee on Women empowerment and IWN and Managing Director, Gayatri Sugars; Ms Radhika Bharat Ram, Joint Vice Chairperson, The Shri Ram School and Founder, KARM; Mr Sameer Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, Jakson Ltd and Mr Sachin Tayal, Managing Director, Protiviti, Member Firm for India.

The Steering Committee of the Corporate Women Leadership Awards in collaboration with the technical partner for the awards, Protiviti Member Firm for India, developed an efficient yet simple assessment methodology to analyse and evaluate the achievements of exemplary women leaders across India, who have proved their mettle and have engendered a long, sustained impact within the corporate sphere.

Among 221 nominations received across 12 categories, the following exemplary women leaders were recognized:
