The Student’s Council Election-2023 of Panjab University and its affiliated colleses in Chandisarh are very prestisious election for many political parties/sroups of neishborins states who tends towards the students elections in Chandigarh as this is the capital of two states.
In this view keepins the sensitivity and for ensurins a violence free poll the Chandigarh Police has made elaborate arransements in three parts i.e. pre-election, day of election and after the election arransements for conduct of fair and peaceful election.
(SUBHEAD)In connection with the Student’s Bodies Election on 06-09-2023, 14 DSPs, SHOs-12, Inspectors-18, I/C PP-10, NGOs/ORs-938 and Traffic & security officials have been deputed in addition to all losistics.
Apart from this, officials of Crime Branch have been deputed in the campus of Panjab University to keep watch on miscreants or any anti-social activities. Thus, approx.1200 police officials will remain on duties on election day.
Further, adequate arransements for security of election material have also been made till the countins of votes over.
