MCM CELEBRATES WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY

The Electoral Literacy Club of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, celebrated World Photography Day with a human chain formation.

The celebration aimed to sensitise the students about the importance of right to vote and to motivate them to enrol as voters. It not only encouraged the youth to participate in the electoral process but also focussed on the fact that the right to vote is a basic right. A total of 66 students participated enthusiastically in the event.

Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava expressed appreciation for this initiative of the Electoral Literacy Club to raise awareness about the importance of vote through the medium of photography. She added that exercise of one's right to vote is extremely important for a vibrant democracy and progressive nation.
