On 07.08.2023, complainant Parvej Garg S/o Ved Parkash Garg R/o H. No. 1480, Sector-42B Chandigarh gave a complaint regarding theft of his grey colour Maruti Ignis car No. PB65BA6372 and cash (Rs. 1.5 Lakh) and Gold Ginni and Some Silver items along with about 3X100 Foreign Currency by his driver/servant Veeru @ Peeru @ Ajay S/o Nabbu R/o Gram-Murtajapur, (Taipur) Unnao Ganj, Muradabad, UP.
A Case FIR no- 232 dated 08.08.2023 U/S-381 IPC has been registered at Police Station 36 and investigation has been taken up.
The team of Police Station Sector-36 comprising of ASI Om Parkash 3354/CP, C. Sandeep 4974/CP, C. Jugraj 2280/CP and C. Vikrant 4146/CP under the close supervision of Insp Om Parkash 691/CHG, SHO/PS-36 and overall supervision of Sh Charanjit Singh Virk SDPO/South West was sent to Gram-Murtajapur, UP and arrested the accused.
(SUBHEAD)During investigation team was sent to the native village of accused i.e. Gram-Murtajapur, (Taipur) Unnao Ganj, Muradabad, UP, but accused not found there. After that CDR of mobile number of accused was obtained and as per CDR his location was coming of Village Rasulpur, near Sarojni Nagar, Lucknow, UP. Thereafter the team moved towards Lucknow UP, but the accused again not found there.
Thereafter working on the secret information the team moved towards village Khandadev and nakka was laid down near Durga Mata Mandir village Khandadev, where the accused was seen coming from the Village towards naka side in the said stolen car. The team apprehended the accused Veeru @ Peeru @ Ajay S/o Nabbu R/o Gram-Murtajapur, (Taipur) Unnao Ganj, Muradabad, UP along with stolen car and during search the other stolen property i.e. cash Rs. 1,17,500, total 348 foreign currency note i.e. England pound-130, Canada cad-115, USA Dollars-101, Malaysia Ringgit-02), Gold Ginni and Some Silver items had been recovered from his possession.
INTERROGATION: On sustained interrogation it was revealed that the accused Veeru @ Peeru @ Ajay S/o Nabbu R/o Gram-Murtajapur, (Tai pur) Unnao Ganj, Muradabad, UP is belongs to Muslim community but, he was working and residing at Chandigarh after changing his name in his addhar card to show him hindu to hide his identity.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Veeru @ Peeru @ Ajay S/o Nabbu R/o Gram-Murtajapur, (Taipur) Unnao Ganj,
Muradabad, UP age 39 yrs.
The above said accused produced before the Hon’ble Court today and one day police remand has been obtained to verify hiding his identity and staying and working in Chandigarh after changing his name. Further investigation is in progress.
