The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) hosted a momentous event to commemorate the distribution ceremony of appointment letters to the selected candidates. The event, held today was graced by the esteemed presence of Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, the Administrator of Chandigarh, along with other notable dignitaries including the Mayor Anup Gupta, Dr Dharam Pal, Adviser to the Administrator & Chairman, CHB, Nitin Yadav Home Secretary, Praveer Ranjan, DGP Chandigarh, Yashpal Garg, CEO CHB, and Vinay Partap Singh DC.

The event marked a significant milestone as appointment letters were personally presented by Sh. Banwarilal Purohit to deserving candidates who have proven their mettle through a rigorous selection process.
The appointment letters were awarded to candidates who successfully navigated a meticulous recruitment procedure that commenced with a public notice inviting applications for these 38 posts of Technical Cadre like Sub Divisional Engineer, Junior Engineer, Asstt. Architect, Draftsman etc.
Following comprehensive evaluations and examinations conducted during the month of February 2023, the results of the written tests were announced in May 2023. In the subsequent months of June and July, thorough document verification and biometric verification were conducted for qualified candidates.
