SHASTRANG MARTIAL ARTS PLAYERS PERFORM EXCEPTIONALLY WELL IN THE ASIAN MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

Shastrang Martial Arts players displayed exceptional talent, dedication and sportsmanship at the Asian Martial Arts Championship 2023 organized by the United World Martial Arts Federation at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, New Delhi. Founder of Shasrang Martial Arts, 9th-degree black belt Grandmaster Bikram S Thapa congratulated all the outstanding performers and wished them good luck for the future.

(MOREPIC1)Under the guidance of team coaches Gaurav and Navneet Jha, and team manager Rosy, the players of Shatrang Indian Modern Martial Art showcased their prowess and emerged as the shining stars of the championship. Their remarkable performance led to an impressive tally of 18 gold medals in different age categories.

In the Air Shield Drill category for participants above 22 years of age, Kirtika secured the gold medal in the 48 KG to 51 KG weight class. In the Under 22 age category, Aashima Nidhi claimed gold in the 72 KG and above weight class, while MINAAKSHI triumphed in the 69 KG to 72 KG category. Garv Khosla showcased exceptional skills and clinched gold in the boys' 69 KG to 72 KG defence drill.

Moving to the Under 18 age category, Kunal emerged victorious in the 51 KG to 54 KG weight class, while Palak showcased excellent technique and secured gold in the 42 KG to 45 KG category. Sonia demonstrated her talent and won gold in the 39 KG to 42 KG category.

In the Under 14 age category, ALANKRITIKA SINGH displayed remarkable skill and earned gold in the 36 KG to 39 KG weight category, while Bhavya impressed the judges and secured gold in the 54 KG to 57 KG category.

The Under 10 age category witnessed Avyaan Dang's exceptional performance, earning him the gold medal in the 21 KG to 24 KG weight category.(SUBHEAD)

In the Defence Drill category for participants above 22 years of age, Yaspal emerged victorious in the 69 KG to 72 KG weight class, while Gaurav showcased his expertise and claimed gold in the 87 KG and above category. In the Under 22 age category, Dil Maya Thapa displayed exceptional skills and won gold in the 54 KG to 57 KG division, while Garv Khosla once again demonstrated his and talent secured gold in the 69 KG to 72 KG category. Monish Yadav dominated the Under 18 age category, earning gold in the 75 KG and above weight category.

In the Pattern category for participants aged 19 to 22, Sushmita and Tanishi Bhardwaj showcased their excellence and secured gold medals in their respective pattern.

The Asian Martial Arts Championship 2023 was a testament to the dedication, hard work, and skill of all participants.
