BJP National Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill met Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today. During the meeting, Shergill apprised the Defence Minister about the ground situation in Punjab on account of the floods.
He told Singh that farmers have suffered huge losses because of crop damage. BJP Spokesperson further informed Singh that apart from the farms, rain fury had caused immense damage to the state infrastructure both in the rural and urban areas.
During the meeting, Shergill discussed a wide range of issues concerning Punjab, especially the border villages of the state with the Defence Minister. He also invited the Defence Minister for the prestigious Munich Security Conference Alumni Meeting to be held in New Delhi.
