In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 17 Sub Section (2)(a) of the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005, the Administrator, Union Territory of Chandigarh has appointed Ms. Shipra Bansal as Chairperson of the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

The term of the Chairperson will be for a period of three years.

The terms and conditions will be applicable as per the rules notified by the Chandigarh Administration under the Commissions for Protection of Child Right Act, 2005.
