GROUP COMMANDER INSPECTED COMBINED ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP

Brigadier Parvinder Singh , Group Commander , Chandigarh Group paid a visit to Combined Annual Training Camp 154 at PGGC sector 11, Chandigarh in order to gauge and review the training activities.

The Brigadier Parvinder Singh ,Group Commander was received by Camp Commandant Colonel Paramjit Singh , 2 Chd Bn NCC .The hallmarks of the camp are to make the cadets well acquainted with the different aspects of Map Reading, Field Craft & Battle Craft and also to hone their Firing Skills.

The Group Commander appreciated the efforts put in by the training instructor staff and NCC Officers who have been providing the best of training .the Group Commander complimented them on their high standard of physical and mental fitness as well as their ‘josh’ and dedication.

(SUBHEAD)The NCC provides a large number of opportunities for personal growth and personality development, he said and urged the cadets to make the best use of NCC, aim high, choose the path of growth and grow into responsible citizens of the country.He interacted with the cadets selected for the upcoming Inter Directorate service shooting championship Camp held at Kerala & Lakshdeep Directorate and the training staff, complimented them for their high standard of training, and wished them well.

The cadets are also being given an exposure to Social service activities during the camp like ‘Swachh Bharat’, Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, exposure to stress management techniques, by guest lecturers with expertise in their fields will also be done in the camp.
