2 CHANDIGARH NCC ORGANIZES A LECTURE ON ROAD SAFETY RULES IN CAMP

Ten-day camp at PGGC sector 11 for NCC has been witnessing various activities for the cadets. The cadets have under gone a traffic rules lecture cum practical class. Chandigarh Traffic Police officer Sub Inspector Bhupinder Singh was present as the main speaker on this occasion.

Through PPT he made the students aware about the road safety rules. He said in his lecture that every person has a moral responsibility to follow the traffic rules while driving so as to reduce the ever increasing number of road accidents Cops train NCC cadets to help create awareness.

Creating traffic awareness and educating people is not the responsibility of the police solely, and other sections of the society should chip in to ensure road safety.

Cadets about what cadets must adhere to once out of their house with respect to their documents, their duties on the road and how NCC cadets can contribute in making people aware of road safety, and decongestion of traffic during peak hours in respect of UT in Chandigarh. an oath to the students to follow the road safety rules ethically.
