• ONE CYBER STALKER ARRESTED FOR HARASSING AN ENGAGED GIRL,ACCUSED CREATED FAKE INSTAGRAM ID AND SEND VULGAR MESSAGES AND MORPHED PHOTOS OF COMPLAINANT TO HER FIANCE., THE ENGAGEMENT OF THE COMPLAINANT GOT BROKE DUE TO THIS INCIDENT, ONE MOBILE PHONE & SIM CARDS BEING USED IN COMMISSION OF CRIME RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION.

On 20.03.2023, a complaint was received through online NCRP Portal at PS Cyber, Dwarka, vide acknowledgement No. 20809220056744/Dairy No. NCRP-6165, wherein the complainant alleged that her fiancée received vulgar messages and morphed photos of her and her family members from one fake Instagram ID.
(MOREPIC1) Then she saw the ID and came to know about messages and morphed photos. Due to vulgar messages and morphed photos, her engagement has been broken. Hence, on the statement of the complainant, a case was registered vide FIR No. 30/23 U/s 67 IT Act was registered at PS Cyber Dwarka and investigation was taken up.
Under the supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, a team led by Insp. Jagdish Kumar, SHO/Cyber Dwarka, consisting Insp. Sudhir, HC Vikas, and W/HC Chanda was constituted in this regard.
(SUBHEAD)M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, Dwarka Distt, said, during the investigation, information was sought from service provider of Instagram ID. On receipt of the registration details, activity of logs of ID, and IP logs, the identity of fake Instagram established and found that one Shubham Kumar of Bihar, had created the fake Instagram ID. On the basis of technical surveillance and analysis of fake Instagram ID accused person was apprehended from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, by the team. On interrogation, he disclosed his identity as Shubham Kumar R/o Kasba Maker, Tola-Buthae, Makar Saran, Bihar, Age 19 years.
On detailed interrogation, he disclosed that he is ex-boyfriend of real sister-in-law (Bhabhi) of the complainant. The sister-in-law of the complainant insisted him to break the engagement of the complainant due to some family disputes. In order to defame the complainant he created a fake Instagram ID and sent vulgar messages & morphed photos of complainant to her fiancée.
As per his disclosure and sufficient documentary evidence against the accused Shubham Kumar, he was arrested in the case. Mobile phone and objectionable material recovered from his mobile phone. Investigation is being carried out to corroborate the facts as alleged against the sister-in-law of complainant by accused Shubham.
