In a major breakthrough, PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP U.T. Chandigarh and SP City in the supervision of Sh. VikasSheokand, Dy. SP DCC and team headed by Sh. Hari Om Sharma, Inspector/Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest 02 proclaimed offenders.
Arrest of Accused/Proclaimed Offender: – With the help of collection of information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. The following proclaimed offenders have been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts made by HC Ashok Kumar 1179/CP, Sr.C. Hardeep 2506/CP, C. Anuj Kumar 4665/CP and C. Amit 4863/CP. The Master Technical & Monitoring Cell of Chandigarh Police providescontinuous assistance to locate the accused and helped the police officials of PO & Summon Staff to apprehend.
The state case PO namely Lakhwinder Singh S/o ShGurmeet Singh R/o # 2012/15, Sector-32 C, Chandigarh Now Saini MohallaVillJhampurDistt Mohali PB age 37 years has been arrested from marble Market, Dhanasin case FIR No. 143 dated 14.06.2019 , U/s 452, 427, 324, 506, IPC, PS-34, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of Gurdev Singh S/o Sh. Gurmeet Singh, R/o 2012/15, Sector-32 C Chandigarh.(SUBHEAD)
Who reported I have younger brother Lakhwinder Singh who lives upper floor and the evening time would be about 7:30 PM that my younger brother Lakhwinder forcedly entered my house and abused me, he started quarreling with me on the issue that there was no water in his house, who hit my left arm with a sharp object and vandalized the cameras and other things installed in my house, which cause injury to my left arm due to this quarrel. The case was registered against accusedLakhwinder Singh.
He was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court. Later he did not appear before the Hon’ble Court and was declared PO by the court of Sh. Karanvir Singh, Ld. CJM, Chandigarh on 13.04.2023.
Another state case proclaimed offender namely Vishal S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o # 1284, Sector-52, Chandigarhhas been arrested from Park, Sector-52, Chandigarh ,in case FIR No. 321 dated 14.06.2011, U/s 406, 498 IPC, PS- 34, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of Nisha w/o Vishal Kumar R/o # 4612, Sector-46 D, Chandigarh.
Who reported that her marriage solemnized with Person namely Vishal on 10.12.2010 at the resident of the complainant as per Hindu rituals and ceremonies.
At the time of marriage, the father of complainant gave sufficient house-hold articles and other valuable gifts. First day of marriageNisha’s in-Laws started misbehaving and used abusive language with her, after that her husband and Father-in-law abused and beat her,for the demands of dowry.The case was registered against accused. He was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court, later he did not appear before the Hon’ble Court. He was declared PO vide order dated 21.02.2016 by the Hon’ble Court Sh. Harjot Singh, JMIC, Chandigarh.
