MR.RAKESH MITTAL IS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF MNOA

Merchant Navy Officers Association (MNOA) has got a new team with Rakesh Mittal being elected as president. He has taken over from Capt. TS Bhatia. The new office bearers who will serve the association for the next two years were elected during the Annual General Meeting(AGM) of MNOA held here.
MNOA outgoing president Capt TS Bhatia said that over 30 members of the Executive Committee attended the meeting, which also deliberated upon various organizational issues including the passing of last year's audit report.(SUBHEAD)
Jagpreet Singh Gaind has been elected as vice president of MNOA, while Pawandeep Singh is the new General Secretary. Since no nomination was received for the post of treasurer, he will be nominated by the president.
In his remarks, Mr Rakesh Mittal said that he would try his level best to take the rich legacy of MNOA forward with the support and guidance of all. Capt Bhagat Singh ( past president) applauded the outgoing team for doing an excellent job during their tenure of preceding two years and congratulated the incoming team. Capt Lalit Dharmani proposed the vote of thanks.
