POLICE NABBED ACCUSED STEELING LAPTOP FROM CAR

In major breakthrough Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh has got success by arresting the accused namely Sagar S/o Arjun R/o H. No 953, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 30 yrs and solved the recently registered theft case FIR No. 61 dated 04.05.2022 u/s 379 IPC added 411 IPC of Police Station Sector31, Chandigarh under close guidance of SHO/PS-31, Chandigarh.

(MOREPIC1) Present case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Abhishek Thakur S/o Inder Singh R/o H.no. 2006/19, Sector 32C, Chandigarh in which he stated that on the 20.04.2022, he went to Industrial Area, Phase-II, Chandigarh for personal work on his car and parked his car near Jai Durga Shop, Plot No. 427A, Indl Area Chandigarh.

After some time, when he came back he found that his car door was opened and his laptop and some other accessories stolen from his car.

In this regard a special team was constituted consisting ASI Balbir Singh, Ct. Neeraj, Ct. Sushil & CC Harpal Singh who succeeded in arresting thief Sagar S/o Arjun R/o H. No 953, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 30 yrs and recovered stolen laptop and other accessories from his possession. Accused
produced before in the Hon’ble Court of Illaqua Magistrate and sent to judicial custody.

Further investigation is in progress.
