In a unique gesture to hundreds of labourers who work throughout the day and sometime even after the sunset, sweet water was served as a part of May Day celebrations in the new grain market here.

The programme was organised by Maheshwari Mahila Mandal under the guidance of its chief Pushpa Sharda. MLA Sandeep Jakhar appreciated the NGO for carrying out such welfare activities and also led in serving sweet water to labourers on the occasion.
