Nearly 150 people were provided free consultation and health tests at one of the city’s very first multi-speciality hospitals, Chhuttani Medical Centre (CMC Hospital) in Sector 17-C Chandigarh at a medical camp on Sunday.
The free medical camp was held to mark the hospital’s 45th Foundation Day, in memory of its visionary founder Prof (Dr) PN Chhuttani, former Director of PGIMER Chandigarh, who along with his father donated their entire property to the trust which now runs the hospital.
For the first time highly experienced doctors, some of them former HoDs of PGI, GMCH-32, provided free OPD consultation in a wide variety of specialities like General Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Dentistry.
The following free health tests were also performed: Haemogram, Blood Sugar, Urine Routine Examination, Blood Pressure, Ht./Wt./BMI.
