THREEE CONSTABLE SUSPENDED, PATIAL SENT TO POLICE LINES

Chandigarh Police has busted online gambling/satta module IPL matches and arrested three persons on secret information near Open Ground near Shyam Mall, Sector 34, Chandigarh.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 42 dated 14.04.2023 U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act & 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh.
(SUBHEAD)Total amount Rs. 6400/- and 5 mobile phones along with Hyundai car No. HR31S0024 have been recovered from the possession of accused persons namely Parth Goyal S/o Sh. Vikas Goyal R/o Flat No.1301 , Tower No. B, Society Mona Green, VIP Road, Zirakpur, Pb (Age-25 ) is main kingpin and his two associate namely Nitin S/o Devender Kumar R/O Flat NO.1301 Tower No. B, Society Mona Green, VIP road, Zirakpur PB (Age 40) and Gagan S/o Amarjit R/o Flat No. 1301, Society Mona Green, VIP Road, Zirakpur, PB (Age-25). Further investigation is in progress.
Whereas 3 constables namely Const. Sandeep, 5061/CP, Const. Manjeet 4710/CP & Const. Hansram 4891/CP posted in District Crime Cell, Chandigarh have been placed under suspension and departmental enquiry is initiated against them due to their misconduct. In-charge DCC, Inspector Narinder Patial has also been sent to Police Lines with immediate effect.
