A call was received regarding snatching incident in sector 43, Chandigarh on Saturday. On this SI Rajesh Kumar along with police party reached the spot where Sonu S/o Budha R/o # 43, Village-Burail Sector-45 Chandigarh give his statement that in morning he was going for his work when he reached in front of CRPF Camp sector 43 near Bus stop, in the meantime one person came on black motor cycle and snatched his mobile phone and run away. On this case FIR No. 91 Dated 07.04.2023 U/S 379/A IPC PS-36 Chandigarh has been registered.
During the course of investigation accused Aman Saroha S/o Amarjit R/o Village-SurjaKhera @Sheogarh Distt-Jind Haryana Age-22 years has been arrested on same day snatched mobile phone Make-Oppo Black colour and M/Cycle Number HR 32 H 4619 (which was used by him in this snatching incident) have been recovered from his possession.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
