With an aim to encourage the businessmen and the entrepreneurs belonging to this border region, for the first time in the history of this border town, Ferozepur Entrepreneur and Business Award (FEBA)-2023 were organized at Dass and Brown World School, in which businessmen, industrialists, who have played an important role in the development of the district, participated.
The event was organized by Council for Infrastructure Development and Economic Reforms (CIDER) and Ferozepur Chambers of Commerce and Entrepreneurship under the patronage of DCM Group of Schools at Rai Bahadur Vishnu Bhagwan Auditorium of Dass & Brown World School.
On this occasion, MLA Rajnish Dahiya, District Sessions Judge Varinder Agarwal, ADRM Balbir Singh, MLA Fauja Singh Sarari, MLA Naresh Kataria, Atul Goyal, DRO Arvind Prakash Verma, District Planning Board Chairman Chand Singh. Gill, Red Cross Secretary Ashok Behal participated. Apart from this, prominent doctors, lawyers, army and BSF officers attended this program.

While addressing the congregation, Dr. Gupta said that his aim is to bring the name of Ferozepur on the world map. He said that he want to promote tourism in the border district so that people from all over the world could come here. Dr. Gupta said that tourism will lead to the all-round development of the district and develop business resources here. He said that FABA-2023 is organized to encourage the businessmen and industrialists of the region which will inspire others to work hard and shine.

The FEBA Awards were given under various categories including hospitality, leisure and entertainment, beauty and wellness, beauty and apparel retail, home furnishings, banquet halls and resorts, auto mobile, jewellery, mobile and accessories, immigration and tourism besides popular artistes and sportspersons of the district were awarded.
On this occasion Senior Director and Retired Brigadier Navdeep Mathur, Advocate Naresh Kakkar, Advocate Ashwani Sharma, Dr. Sheel Sethi, Dr. Harsh Bhola, Dr. Praveen Dhingra, Dr. K.C. Arora, Chandra Mohan Handa, Vipul Narang, CA Sunil Gakhar, Anurag Aeri, Dr. Manish Ohri, former Commandant Ravi Awasthi, Dharmapal Bansal, Kuldeep Gakkar, Deputy Director Manjit Dhillon, Principal Dr. Rajesh Chandel, Vice Principal Manish Banga, VP Manreet Singh etc. were present.
