WZCC'S ART EXHIBITION ATTRACT 2000 ART LOVERS

An art exhibition, organized by the Western Zone Cultural Center Udaipur at the historic Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai, was inaugurated by Vishwanath Sable, Principal, JJ School of Art, Mumbai. WZCC director Kiran Soni Gupta said that the paintings made in the Shaurya Art Camp have been displayed under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

These include paintings made of oil, acrylic include freedom fighters Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rajguru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Birsa Munda and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The mural was made during the Corona period by Artists.

(SUBHEAD)Paintings of Art were also displayed in the Exhibition Gallery No. 1 of Jehangir Art which depicts beautiful paintings of Lord Ganesh, Shri Krishna and Gods and Goddesses of South India. Phad art, tribal art and watercolor paintings of Mewar have also been displayed in Exhibition Gallery No. 2 and 3.
More than 2000 art-lovers visited the exhibition on the first day at Jehangir Art Gallery.

For the first time, the WZCC Cultural Center has put up an art exhibition at the prestigious art gallery of India that has a history of more than 60 years. Principal of JJ School of Art, Mumbai Vishwanath Sable, Centre Director Kiran Soni Gupta, Curator of National Gallery of Modern Art Shruti, PRO Rajasthan Information Center Mumbai, Ritu Sodhi, Ramesh Pachpande, Photographer Shiresh R. Karrale and Painter Nilesh were present at the inauguration ceremony.
