ACCUSED AMANDEEP SINGH REMANED TO POLICE CUSTODY TO ASCERTAIN THE SOURCES OF ORIGIN OF RECOVERED CONTRABAND DRUGS AND NAME OF PERSON (S), WHOM, IT TO BE SELL IN TRICITY

In another major breakthrough the team of ANTF under thesupervision of Insp. Satvinder Singh cracked the whip on the drug paddlers, with theapprehension of drug paddler namely Amandeep Singh R/o Vill. Gujratan Distt. Kapurthala, Punjab, Aged 29 years.
Police said, team of ANTF headed by SI Gurjiwan Singh succeed in arrestingtheaccused Amandeep Singh in the follow up case FIR No. 71 Dt. 14.10.2022U/s21&29 NDPS Act, PS-ITP, UT Chandigarh, in which 300 grams Heroin was recovered from the accused Sukhwinder Singh @ Sukha R/o # 1798, Adarsh Nagar, Nayagaon, Mohali, Punjab. Aged 23 years on 14.10.2022 and was registered against him.
During investigation his disclosure was got recorded in which he disclosed that he had purchased the narcotics from Amandeep Singh, a resident of Kapurthalaand smuggled throughout tricity, and for this he transferred money online in the account of Amandeep Singh. Bank details of Sukhwinder Singh was analysed and it is found that about 27 lacks rupees has been transferred by Sukhwinder Singh @ Sukha in the Amandeep’s account.(SUBHEAD)
On the account of above said evidences on 7.3.2023 accused AmandeepSingh was also arrested in the present case from Gujratan Distt. Kapurthala.
PREVIOUS RECORD: He has tainted past and previously arrested in NDPS Act case by the Punjab Police. Since 12 years he is consuming the drug and for the last 5 year he started to sell the drug to fullfil his need of drug. He was also admitted in re- habitation centre in Kurali, Punjab.
Accused Amandeep Singh was produced before the District Court and police remand was obtained to ascertain the sources of origin of recovered contraband drugs and name of person (s), whom, it to be sell intricity by arrested accused.
