Chandigarh police achieved a major success when the police team of Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh under the supervision of Ms Palak Goel, D.A.N.I.P.S, DSP/East Sub Division Chandigarh & on the directions of Inspector Maninder Singh S.H.O/P.S Sector-26, Chandigarh arrested alleged Hartivik S/o Sh Sudhir Kumar R/o BCW Vill Surajpur PKL Near Lalit Flower School HR Age 22 Year, Maninder Singh @ Manni s/o Ranjit Singh R/o H No 31 BCW Vill Surajpur PKL Near Lalit Flower School HR Age 23 Year & alleged Vikas @ Janab S/o Sh.Madan R/o-H No 82 Phase 02 BDC Sec 26 CHD Age 19 Year and worked out sensational theft cases of Copper wire.
Accordingly an FIR No 22 Dt 26.02.23 U/s 379 IPC Added 411 IPC
This case was registered on the complaint of Sh Ajay Kapoor S/o Sh Tek Chand R/o S.C.O No. 43, Back Side Dastan Restaurant, Sec 07 C Chandigarh. He reported that during the night of 25/26-2-23, someone stolen the AC Copper Pipe from the rooftop of SCO No. 43, Sector-7-C, Chd.

This case was registered on the complaint of Sh Shesh Kumar S/o Sh Mansa Ram R/o House No. 1349, Small Flats, Dhanas Chd. He reported that he is serving as Manager with Domino’s Pizza, SCO No. 34, Sector-28-C, Chandigarh. On 26.1.2023 when he visited his office, he found that someone stolen copper wire of the AC installed on the roof top of his office.

• Modus Operandi:- During interrogation accused disclosed that they are habitual consuming drugs and to fulfill their daily needs they were roaming in the area and earmarked where the stairs of showrooms found opened. • Accused Vikas @ Janab has also arrested in case FIR No-137 Dated-14.6.2021 U./S 379,411 IPC & FIR No. 19 dated 22.2.23 U/s 380,411-IPC registered in Police Station Sector-26, Chd.
• Accused has also disclosed that they have committed more than 7 incidents regarding theft of copper wire.
• Accused have been produced before the Hon’ble court today and their One (1) day police remand obtained.
