 Further in a major breakthrough, team of Operations Cell, Sector-26, Chandigarh headed by Inspector Amanjot Singh, I/C Operations Cell under the close supervision of Sh. Jasbir Singh, DSP Operations and over all supervision of Sh. KetanBansal IPS, SP Operations, succeeded in arresting a hardcore criminal namely ShivamChauhan @ Shiv S/o SushilChauhan R/o 3632 Sector 69 Mohali Punjab Age 32 Years and VikasMaan @ tau S/o Mange Ram R/o Village BallahTehsilAsand District karnal Haryana Age 25 Years and recovered two Pistols along with 07 live cartridges from their possession.(SUBHEAD)

On 22.02.2023 ASI Surjit Singh along with police party were on patrolling duty and during patrolling when they reached SanatanDharamMandir sector 37C Chandigarh, a secret informer met ASI SurjeetSingh and gave information about two boys namely ShivamChauhan@Shiv andVikasmann@ Tau who are members of lucky Patial gang.

He further disclosed that theyhave sophisticated weapons and they wanted to kill BaljeetChaudhary who was former associate of Shivam but due to some misunderstanding friends has becomeFoes. He further told that today both of them will come in their Scorpio vehicle bearing number PB-65-AJ-0024 from sector-37 market and they will be going to Mohali to kill BaljeetChaudhary. On this information ASI Surjit along with police party, laid a nakain sector 37-C market.

During checking at about 11:30 PM one white colour Scorpio car was seen coming from sector 37-C market towards naka as per the secret information, the car was stoped, suddenly car driver and the person sitting next to him and started running.While apprehending both of them showed lot of resistance. After huge resistance both of them wereapprehended and from them twosophisticated pistol and 07 live cartridges were recovered from their possession.

Recovery:  Two .32 bore 2 sophisticated Pistols, 7 live cartidges,
