With the stay order from the court, the fate of Aero Plaza project in Aerocity, Mohali is hanging in balance. The court order (dated Feb 7, 2023) for stay came into effect after a complaint of cheating and fraud was initiated against the promoters, M/s Shudh Gold.
As per the details, M/s Shudh Gold, a partnership firm represented through Sanjeev Mittal and others, having its office at SCO 1-A,B,C, Sector 66A, Mohali, being the allottee of 5 Acres Commercial Site, Block G (being promoted as Aero Plaza), Aerocity Mohali, sold 10% of its share to Vijay Kumar Goel and Gaurav Goel of Perfect Estate.(SUBHEAD)
The Goels accused the promoters of cheating, fraud and misappropriation, when they found that Shudh Gold in order to grab their 10% share was further trying to sell or enter into an agreement to sell for the said property. “This is actually illegal, unlawful and amounts to cheating, fraud and misappropriation,” said Vijay Kumar Goel.
Goel further issued a warning through a public notice to “not to deal with the said property till the decision of the above said proceedings” and “any such person entering into agreement in reference to the said property/ commercial units, shall be doing at his own personal risk and financial losses”.
