During morning hours on Republic Day amidst dense foggy conditions, alert Border Security Force troops deployed on border noticed human footprints on IB track in the area falling near Village – Tindiwala, District – Ferozepur.
Further, during search of the area, BSF troops recovered three packets of narcotics suspected to be Heroin (Gross wt – 03 Kg) wrapped with yellow adhesive tape.
The contraband valued Rs. 15 crores in international market.
BSF spokesman said, vigilant BSF troops, once again were able to foil nefarious design of smugglers to
smuggle contrabands.
