Army Public School (APS) Jaisalmer successfully organised its prestigious two-day Annual Function. Themed 'Reclaiming Our Future – Carpe Diem', the event underscored the school's commitment to holistic student development through cultural programmes, discipline, creativity and leadership.
(MOREPIC1) The function commenced with the arrival of Chief Guest Brigadier Nanda Kumar K, SC, of Golden Katar Division, followed by traditional Lamp Lighting. Pre-Primary and Primary wing students enthralled the audience with musical presentations, thematic dances and environmental awareness skits under the sub-theme 'Reclaiming Our Future – A Journey'. The Chief Guest distributed prizes to academic, sports and co-curricular achievers, and commended student talent and discipline.
Brigadier Nanda Kumar K, SC, presided over the event alongside Pratap Singh, District Collector, Jaisalmer. Post Lamp Lighting, senior students presented Taekwondo displays, Hindi-English plays and the culmination dance under 'Reclaiming Our Future – The Journey Continues', emphasising resilience and societal responsibility.
Principal Himanshu Seth highlighted academic accomplishments. Chief Guest's motivational address marked the finale. Parents, faculty and dignitaries lauded the seamless coordination and thematic relevance. The event reinforced APS Jaisalmer's role in extending the vision of the Indian Army on nation-building through value-based education.
