ONE USA CITIZEN AGED 68 YRS TRACED AND HANDED OVER TO USA EMBASSY

The staff of PS Delhi Cantt, South West District has done a commendable work by tracing one US citizen Age-68 yrs who is mentally challanged and handed him over him to USA Embassy. 

On 18.01.2023, a PCR call regarding a foreigner who is stranded in Delhi Cantt. was received at the PS Delhi Cantt. On receipt of the call the IO contacted the complainant and rushed to the spot alongwith staff. Meanwhile an emergency call was received from USA Embassy regarding safeguarding and protecting their citizen as he was mentally not fit. USA Embassy asked for help to take their citizen to their place. 

Mr. Manoj C. IPS DCP, South  West distt. said, by gauging the situation SHO/Delhi Cantt under overall supervision of the ACP/Delhi Cantt. constiuted a team comprising SI Munna, HC Akaash, HC Manveer and the team started search of the missing/stranded person.

The missing/stranded person was traced from Ambiance Mall, Gurugram. He was counseled and the USA Embassy was informed regarding the said person. The USA Embassy took the said citizen to their Embassy for further assistance.
