In the LRS DAV Sr. Sec. Model School, a program related to the martyrdom of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the younger sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh ji, was organized in which students and teachers participated enthusiastically. Beautiful pictures, songs and poems were presented.
Principal Smita Sharma while paying homage to the younger Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh with moist eyes said that it was due to the sacrifice of the entire family of Guru Gobind Singh ji for the country that Hindu religion got freedom from the shackles of the Mughals. It is said in the Gita that 'do your work, don't worry about the result'.
Similarly, Guru Gobind Singh ji has said 'Dehi Shiva var mohey ihai, shubh karman te kabhun na taro' i.e., we should never back down from good deeds, no matter what the result may be. It is known from his thoughts that along with Guru Gobind Singh ji, his mother and the four Sahibzadas worked to unite the society by giving the message of Karma, Siddhanta, Equality, Fearlessness, Freedom. He never compromised on human and moral values. Today again it is necessary that by following the path shown by him, we all should unite for the strengthening of religion, society and brotherhood, she said.
