Mariners of the tricity welcomed the New Year with a gala evening courtesy Merchant Navy Officers Association (MNOA), Chandigarh.

(MOREPIC1) (MOREPIC2) (MOREPIC3)(SUBHEAD)MNOA president Captain TS Bhatia said that togetherness is the spirit of our association, which we celebrate without fail. “Almost one hundred officers with their families got together for the evening, which was full of camaraderie and bonhomie,” he said.

“The members and their families could be seen mingling with each other, and exchanging their memorable experience and adventures at sea as well as ashore. There could not have been a better way to bid farewell to 2022 and usher in the New Year,” said Captain Bhatia.

He said that Chandigarh now has developed intensely since its foundation was laid. The formation of the Merchant Navy Officers' Association was the result of the initiative and untiring efforts of our veterans. The MNOA has grown into a formidable and respected organization designed by seafarers to represent their interests and promote seafaring skills and opportunities in the years ahead.
