ARMY COMMANDER, SOUTH WESTERN COMMAND VISITS SRIGANGANAGAR

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, visited Sriganganagar Military Station and reviewed the operational preparedness, readiness and overall security posture of the formations deployed in the sector, resulting in high operational effectiveness.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the prevailing operational situation, operational effectiveness of the formation, innovation training, Drone Centre of Excellence and the surveillance grid. He reviewed ongoing capability enhancement initiatives, including surveillance systems, response mechanisms and key infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening operational effectiveness.

Army Commander also interacted with all the ranks and commended them for their professionalism, dedication and vigilant conduct while safeguarding the nation’s borders. He appreciated the high standards of operational readiness and emphasized the importance of continuous preparedness, synergy among all ranks and steadfast commitment to national security.
