PNB AND SBI CRUISED INTO THE FINALS OF TBL

In the Escon Primera Tricity Bankers League (TBL) Edition 1, two semi-final matches were played at the Tricity Sports Academy, Peer Muchalla. In the semi-final-1, PNB Phantoms defeated IndusInd Bank winning the match by 4 wickets. PNB scored 165/6 (19.4) and IndusInd Bank scored 164/4 (20).

Rohit Khatana from IndusInd Bank was declared Player of The Match for his all-round performance (41 Runs, 2 Wickets). Chani from IndusInd Bank (53 Runs in 35 Balls) was announced Best Batsman, and Teji Ahluwalia from IndusInd Bank (4 overs, 29 runs, and 3 wickets) was the Best Bowler.

Subodh from PNB became the Game Changer for snatching the victory from the jaws of IndusInd Bank. 30 runs were required in 18 balls, but Subodh kept his cool and took his team to the finishing line by scoring 28 runs in 17 balls.(SUBHEAD)

In the Semi Final – 2, State Bank of India defeated Yes Bank by 55 Runs. SBI secured 127/8 (20) and Yas Bank had to satisfy with 72/10 in 17.5 overs. In this match, Kapil Dev from SBI (3 overs, 8 Runs, and 2 wickets) was announced Player of The Match, Mandeep Singh from SBI (47 runs in 53 balls) was Best Batsman, and Sam Chhetri from SBI (4 overs, 13 Runs, and 3 wickets) was Best Bowler.

Sonu became the Game Changer. In a low-scoring match and when Yes Bank could smell the victory after stopping SBI on a very modest score of just 127, Sonu started the spell which gave confidence to other bowlers and as a result, SBI bowlers took charge and spoiled Yes Bank's dream of reaching finals.
