Border Security Force troops deployed at border heard buzzing sound of suspected flying object / drone
entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near Village – Kalia, in District – Tarn – Taran. As per drill, the troops tried to intercept the drone. The whole area was cordoned and Police & concerned sister agencies were informed.
Further, during search BSF troops recovered a a Quadcopter (drone), DJI Matrice 300 RTK, alongwith consignment of contraband suspected to be heroin (gross wt. – 2.470 kgs) tightly wrapped in yellow coloured polythene, with 03 radium strips, atta hed with a metal ring meant for release of the
consignment from drone lying in an open wheat field near Vill – Kali
Alert troops of BSF once again foiled the nefarious attempt of antinational element to smuggle contraband.
