I.S. DEV SAMAJ SCHOOL CELEBRATES ANNUAL FUNCTION ‘GULDASTA’

The junior wing of I.S. Dev Samaj Sr. Sec. School, Sector 21 Chandigarh celebrated its Annual Function 2022-23 ‘Guldasta’ with glitz and glory. The occasion was graced by Dr. Shvetta Arora, Regional Officer C.B.S.E. Chandigarh; Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Principal Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36 Chandigarh; Maanvinder Singh Mangat, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Dev Samaj Head Office and Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat, Principal, I.S. Dev Samaj School.

(MOREPIC1)(MOREPIC2)The cultural event began invoking the blessings of Bhagwan Dev Atma, Founder of Dev Samaj through Bhajan ‘Bhala Chahna’.

Students from class Nursery to II exhibited their talent through Rhymes, Couplets and Dance performances. The function then progressed witnessing mesmerizing productions of the students of Class III to V.

The students staged plays highlighting the theme of ‘Environment Conservation’. The audience was seamlessly transported to their childhood through the students’ performances on the songs ‘Lakdi ki Kathi’ and ‘Hum Honge Kamyaab’. The students also lucidly presented ‘Akbar Birbal Ka Darbar’ in which all actors portrayed their characters gracefully.

The dance performances, costumes, dialogues and stage decoration were applauded by the spectators. The breathtaking journey culminated with the National Anthem. The show not only enchanted all but it also brought to the fore the latent talent of the students.

Chief Guest Dr. Shvetta Arora congratulated the school for the success of the function. She also appreciated the collaborative efforts of the Management, Teachers & Students of the School. The school's Principal Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat presented a ‘Vote of Thanks’.
