(MOREPIC1)On 25th Nov' 2022 at about 1945 hrs, Border Security Force troops deployed at border heard buzzing sound of suspected drone entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near Village – Daoke, District – Amritsar.
As per drill, the troops tried to intercept the suspected drone by firing. Bullet hit the Drone due to which, it fell down on the ground. The whole area was cordoned and Police & concerned sister agencies were informed.
Further, during initial search, BSF party recovered 01 Quadcopter DJI Matrice 300 RTK (Chinese drone) in partially damaged condition lying in the farming field ahead of border fencingnear Village – Daoke. Alert troops of BSF once again were able to capture a drone and foiled smuggling.
