BSF TROOPS RECOVERED HEROIN WORTH RS. FIVE CRORES IN FEROZEPORE SECTOR

Border Security Force (BSF) troops reported to have recovered one packet of contraband heroin worth Rs. five crores in international market on Saturday morning.

BSF spokesman said, on Saturday at about 0810 hrs, BSF troops while carrying-out area domination ahead of border fencing, found one black colour bucket in broken condition containing suspicious item concealed under the dry grass in the close vicinity of IB near village – Wan in district – Tarn Taran.

Further, on search of the bucket, BSF troops recovered suspicious powder in moist condition suspected to be narcotics (gross wt – 1.050 kgs) in an open polythene kept in bucket.

Vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempt of anti – national elements to smuggle contraband.
