Border Security Force (BSF) on specific information recovered one packet of contraband heroin from the fields of Distt. Tarn Taran on Saturday morning.
B.S.F. spokesman from Jalandhar Punjab Frontier Headquarter said on Saturday at about 1125 hrs, on specific information received from villager of Pallopati, BSF troops recovered a blue colour small bag from the farming field near Village – Pallopati, District – Tarn Taran.(SUBHEAD)(MOREPIC2)
Further, on search of the bag, BSF troops recovered 01 Packet of contraband item suspected to be narcotics (Gross wt – 1.030 kg) wrapped with yellow tape.
The contraband valued Rs. 5 crores in international market.
Vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempt of anti – national elements to smuggle contraband.
