CHANDIGARH POLICE PO CELL NABS ABSCONDING ACCUSED FROM LUDHIANA

In a major breakthrough PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP/UT Chandigarh Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal IPS and in the supervision of DSP/DCC and team headed by Insp. Hari Om Sharma Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest the absconding person.

With the help of collection of information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. The following mentioned absconding person has been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts made by ASI Ravi Kumar 534/CP, ASI Gurmeet Singh 3469/CP and Vol. Jang Singh 415/HGV.

The FIR No. 122 dated 03.08.2017 U/s 61-1-14 Excise Act, PS-19, Chandigarh was registered against accused Kulwinder Singh S/o Chand Singh R/o # 614, Gali No. 15, Mohalla Govindsar, Shimlapuri, Ludhiana on the complaint of C. Balwinder Singh 149/CP. He stated that he was posted at PCR and deployed on PCR vehicle Echo-20 alongwith his co worker.(SUBHEAD)

On the night of incident he was on duty in the area of PS-19, Chandigarh and was patrolling in the Motor market Sector-20 and residential area of Sector-20, Chandigarh. When they reached backside of motor market they noticed that a Taxi was parked there and the key of car was inside the car and there were some box of wine at the back seat of the Taxi. They waited for some time for the owner of the car to come, but no one came, so they called at Control Room. Later the case was registered against accused Kulwinder.

After concession of bail the accused did not come present in court and he was declared Proclaimed offender by the Hon’ble court of Ms. Komple Dhanjal, JMIC, Chandigarh on 14.09.2022. The accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court of Ms. Riffi Bhatti, JMIC and has been sent to judicial custody till 30.11.2022 by the concerned court.
