MGNCRE ORGANISES DISTRICT LEVEL WORKSHOP

A district level workshop was organized by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE) at Gopichand Arya Mahila College here.

Nodal officers of 17 colleges of district Fazilka participated enthusiastically in the event. The program was inaugurated by lighting lamps. Samarth Sharma, the resource person, said that the main objective of this program is to promote social entrepreneurship based vocational education, energy conservation, waste management and greenery management in the campus to provide employment to the youth.Such workshops are being organized in two phases across Punjab.

Samarth Sharma was honored by Principal Dr. Rekha Sood Handa by presenting a memento. A poster related to Student Entrepreneurship Skilling Youth for Employability was also released.

Appreciating the efforts made by the college for maintenance of the campus, Samarth Sharma said that Gopichand College fully deserves the District Green Championship Award. The program was successfully conducted with the cooperation of Amandeep Kaur (Program Director), Paridhi Kataria, Sunil Upneja, Jyoti, Dr. Amardeep Singh and Shivangi Vij.
