ON COMPLETION OF ONE YEAR OF CYBER SWACHHTA MISSION : AWARENESS PROGRAMME ORGANIZED AT ELANTE MALL

On completion of one year of cyber swachhta mission awareness, an awareness Campaign was organized at Elante Mall Industrail Area phase- I Chandigarh from 03.00 PM to 05.00 PM by the cyber Interns and officials of Police Station Cyber Crime. The awareness Program was inaugurated by SH. Manoj Kumar Meena IPS SSP Headquarters Chandigarh Police.

(MOREPIC1) Inspector/SHO Ranjit Singh Police Station Cyber Crime and expert cyber crime officials delivered lecturer to the Public.

(SUBHEAD)They were aware about the Do’s & Don’t related to online cyber crime frauds like financial frauds, calling from Canada frauds, Loan apps frauds, SMS/calling from Electricity Department frauds, UPI PIN required only to make payments and not to receive any payment, verification of the mobile number and name in the UPI application before initiating any payment. Buyer/seller showing unreasonable haste or urgency is most likely a fraudster. Using of strong password etc and call 1930 or 112 if any untoward.

Total 2000 people including senior citizen, youth and children were aware in the cyber awareness campaign.
