Week Long Celebration of World Children’s Day’ organized by Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Right (CCPCR), Chandigarh. Mr Debendra Dalai .IFS, Director, Department of Environment, Chandigarh was the chief guest at Ankur School PU

(MOREPIC1)   A competition under the theme- ‘Best out of waste: Say No to Single Plastic’ was held in Ankur School on 16-11-2022 at its Multi Purpose Hall. The competition was a part of ‘Week Long Celebration of World Children’s Day’ organized by Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Right (CCPCR), Chandigarh.

Mr Debendra Dalai .IFS, Director, Department of Environment, Chandigarh was the chief guest and Madam Harjinder Kaur, CCPCR chairperson was the guest of honour of the event. Dr. Monika Munjal, an ardent social worker and member, Ankur School Management Committee was also present on the occasion with her team members.

About 28 schools from Chandigarh participated in the event. Students showcased their innovative ideas through art and craft. Chief guest Mr Debendra Dalai and guest of honour Madam Harjinder Kaur encouraged the students by awarding the best creations of the event. He guests also motivated the students not to use plastic and promote the three R’s of conserving resources. Principal, Dr Parminder Duggal appreciated and lauded the efforts of the students and teachers.
