Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Manmohan Gupta today inaugurated the world class services of Audiology and Speech Therapy at Tantia Medical College Hospital and Research Center (Jan Sewa Hospital) located on Sriganganagar-Hanumangarh Road by cutting the ribbon.
On the occasion, Deputy Superintendent of Traffic Police Vicky Nagpal and SHO Vishwajit inaugurated the campaign 'Awaaz' for awareness and solution of hearing problems.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. H.S. Bindra, Chief Administrative Officer Prof. Baljit Singh Kuldiya and General Manager Dr. Vikas Sachdeva welcomed the guests. Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chairman of Tantia University, assured free investigation and other cooperation of traffic policemen under the campaign.

Pure Tone Audiometry, Impedance Audiometry, Auto Acoustic Emission Test, Bera Test, Wamp Test, Hearing Test of New-born children, Speech and Language Test and Therapy will be done with the help of state-of-the-art equipment in the audiology services of Jan Sewa Hospital. Earlier one had to go to Jaipur or Delhi for such services, now the same will be available in Sriganganagar itself. For audiology services, a special type of room, sound treated audiological room, has been developed. It has been designed keeping in mind the guidelines of the American National Standard.
