Police achieved a major success when the police team of Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh under the supervision of Ms Palak Goel, D.A.N.I.P.S, DSP/East Sub Division Chandigarh & on the directions of Inspector Maninder Singh S.H.O/P.S Sector-26, Chandigarh apprehended accused Abhishek Kohli S/o Devinder Singh R/o Gali No. 4, Amul Dairy, Kaimbala Age-22 years, Rahul Yadav S/o Sh Anil Kumar E/o House No. 2256-A, Sector-20-C, Chd Age-20 years & accused Deepak S/o Subhash R/o House No. 2825 Sector-20-C, Chd Age-28 years and worked out a case of Snatching.
Case FIR No 145 Dt 13.11.22 u/s 379A, 341, 34 IPC : This case has been registered on the complaint of Sh Vishav Preet Singh S/o Sh Avtar Singh R/o H No 3155 Sec 28 B Chd. He reported that on 12.11.2022 at about 10.00 PM, while he was walking near Sector 27/28 light point in the meantime, three boys came on a M/Cycle & forcibly stopped him and snatched his purse containing Cash Rs 500, Adhar Card, mobile phone & neck chain.(SUBHEAD)
As the Beat Staff was present & alert on duty and they immediately nabbed one of them on the spot who identified as Abhishek Kohli. Later on, during further investigation & on the instance of accused Abhishek Kohli, Co-accused Rahul Yadav & Deepak have also been arrested. Snatched property i.e Mobile Phones, Purse, documents & Chain recovered from their possession. Motor Cycle CH-04-B-4541 Passion Plus used in the crime has also been recovered. These accused has been produced in Court and sent to judicial custody.
