CHANDIGARH POLICE ARRESTED ANOTHER SNATCHER

Chandigarh Police achieved a major success when the Police Staff ofPolice Station Sector-39, Sub-Division South West arrested an co-accused Aneesh Kumar S/o Sh. Kartar Singh R/o # 1319/B, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh Age 18 years and worked out a case of snatching by recovering another snatched mobile phone of co-complainant make IQOO, darkgrey Colour, bearing IMEI No.867646068573072, 867646068573072 in case FIR No.178 dated 08.11.2022 U/S 379A,34 IPC added 411 IPC PS 39, Chandigarh.

Apartfromthatoneanothermobilephonemake Realme was also recovered and the same was taken into police possession U/s102 CrPC. 

It was reported that on 06.11.2022 at about 07.30 PM, the co-complainant Intzar S/o sh. Muktayar R/o # 34/1, Village Palsora Chandigarh, when he reached slip road near taxi stand, Sector-54,Chandigarh, in the meantime two activa riders without helmet snatched his IQOOZ-6 mobilep honebearing IMEINo.867646068573072,867646068573054 with sim card no. 6283340778 and Rs. 5,000/- cash and fled awayfromthe spot.

On the Directions of W/SSP and under the supervision of Sh Mridul, IPS,SDPO/South West, a team was constituted comprising of Inspector/SHO Eram Rizvi, SI Daljeet Singh 1061/CHG I/C PP Palsora, HC Santokh Singh 667/CP, C Sunil Kumar 4999/CP, C Vidyanand6248/CP, CNarinderKumar4142/CP, VolAstikRana593HGV.

During the course ofinvestigation, abovesaid snatching case was crackedbyputtinganakanearKachcha Rasta, near Pingalwada, Sector-55, Chandigarh on secret information. Thereafter, co-accused Aneesh Kumar S/O Kartar Singh R/o # 1319/B, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh has been arrested on12.11.2022, who is the associate of main accused Wahid S/o sh. Sabir Ali R/o # 840,GF, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh age 21 years.

Accused Wahid S/o Sh. Sabir Aliwas already arrested and sent to judicial custody accordingly. Co-accused AneeshKumar S/o Sh. Kartar Singh was produce before the Hon’ble court for 14 days judicialremand.
