BSF TROOPS SEIZED HEROIN WORTH OVER RS. 15 CRORES IN FWROZEPORE SECTOR

Border Security Force (BSF) troops at about 0743 hrs, while carrying-out area domination ahead of border fencing, noticed some suspicious item wrapped in a yellow tape kept under a tree lying in the farming field inside Indian territory near village – Nizamwala in Ferozepur district.

Further, during search, BSF troops recovered 04 small packets of contraband item suspected to be narcotics (gross wt – 312 gms) from the farming field at village – Nizamwala.

The contraband valued Rs. over 15 crores in international market.

BSF Spokesman said, vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempt of anti – national elements to smuggle contraband.
