BSF troops on Wednest at about 1209 hrs,while carrying-out area domination ahead of border fencing, noticed suspicious item lying under paddy straw in the farming field inside Indian territory ahead of border fence near village – Chandu Wadala in Gurdaspur district.
B.S.F. spokesman from Jalandhar BSF Punjab Frontier HQ, said, during search, BSF troops recovered 03 packets of contraband item suspected to be narcotics (gross wt – 3.170 kgs) from the farming field at
village – Chandu Wadala.
The Contraband valued over Rs. 15 crores in international market.
Vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempt of anti – national elements to smuggle contraband.
