Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police reported to have arrested Randeep Singh @ Rohit Rana R/o Village Machhli Kala, Distt-Mohali (PB) (Age-23 years) and recovered one pistol and 5 live cartridges from his possession.
The accused was arrested near Water Works Colony, Sector-26, Chandigarh on Monday.
A case FIR No. 142, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
